Our client a well established and professional organisation based in Shrewsbury is looking for an Administrator to join their team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate for this role will be at least A’ Level educated in Maths and English, have a confident and professional telephone manner and previous experience working within an office environment. Full training and great future career opportunities are available for the right candidate.
• Previous office administration experience is essential
• Ideally degree educated but a minimum of A ‘Level Maths and English will be considered
• To complete all mandatory online training courses in a timely manner and to take part in optional training courses as considered appropriate by Management
• Confident, clear and professional communication skills both written and oral
• To be a strong team player who is reliable and punctual with a great eye for detail

The working hours for this role are Monday to Friday 9.00am – 5.30pm with 1 hour lunch or 9.00am to 5.00 with half hour lunch.
Experience, Skills & Qualifications
• Answering the telephone and dealing with requests from customers, responding to incoming emails. Directing complex issues to the appropriate person.
• Using mail merge to deliver general correspondence to clients and leaseholders.
• Assisting with the preparation of responses to all client, contractor and customer communication whether by telephone, e-mail, fax or letter.
• Processing, scanning, photocopying and filing of documents.
• Assisting in uploading documentation to the various internal systems
• Maintaining and updating the diary of appointments for the Department Manager, Branch Manager and Property Managers; property inspection checklists, notes of client and residents’ meetings.
• Organising and issuing works orders for routine maintenance such as cleaning, gardening and other low risk maintenance.
• Liaising with other departments to obtain or provide information relating to the property portfolio.
• Attending internal meetings as and when required.
