Our client, a well-established and professional organisation based in Shrewsbury has a great opportunity for someone wanting to work in the Property Management sector. The ideal candidate for this permanent Block Property Manager role will be a car driver/owner who is educated to at least A’ Level standard in Maths and English, have previous experience in an office-based customer service / problem solving role along with strong, confident communication skills. • Previous office-based customer service / problem solving experience
• Understanding of the difference between leasehold and freehold
• To be a driver with your own car (Due to the travelling involved)
• Degree educated but a minimum of A ‘Level Maths and English is considered
• To take part and complete all mandatory online training courses
• Confident, clear and professional communication skills both written and oral

£26,000pa + Car Allowance

Shrewsbury, SY1

A starting salary of £26,000pa, Car allowance of £3,500pa, excellent opportunities for training and study support, future career prospects, 25 days holiday which increases with service and lots of further company benefits once you have passed your probation period.

The working hours for this role are Monday to Friday 9.00am – 5.30pm with 1 hour lunch or 9.00am to 5.00 with half hour lunch.

Experience, Skills & Qualifications

• Carrying out periodic property inspections and ensuring all H&S regulations are maintained and preparing site reports.
• Arranging maintenance for all areas
• Preparing and working within budgets and maintaining client accounts
• Ensuring the building, Directors and Officers insurance is in place
• Attending EGMs, AGMs, Directors’ and Residents’ meetings
• Producing correspondence and dealing with own administration including Section 20
• Dealing with breaches of the lease and liaising with landlord and leaseholders
• Liaising with, obtaining quotes and appointing contractors
• Property Sales (Assignment of the Lease)
• Dealing with complaints and using problem solving skills
